Our cruise on board the “Gorgona” traditional wooden boat will take us to the sister island of Alonissos and the nearby deserted island of Peristera.

Sailing along the South East coast of Alonissos we will reach MILIA BAY – one of the most popular beaches of the island – where our first swim stop will take place, swimming off the boat.

Moving further along the coastline we will reach the small fishing hamlet of STENI VALA where the first monk seal rescue base was built in the early 80s. Here there will be time to wander around the little picturesque port with its beautiful fishing and cruise boats or enjoy a coffee or a snack at one of the small tavernas.

Next, lunch is served on board the “Gorgona” in one of the secluded bays of  Peristera island which is the deserted marine park island just a short sail from Steni Vala. There will also be time for a swim off the boat.

Patitiri is the main port and capital of Alonissos and this will be our next stop. We will stay here for a couple of hours and you will have the chance to see the town and harbour, do some shopping of local produce or pay a visit to the local museum.  If you wish it is also possible to take a bus or taxi up to the old main town of Alonissos, which was partly destroyed during the earthquakes of 1965 and is an interesting village with amazing views and architecture.

Our cruise day out will return to Skopelos past the St.Georges islands which are situated in between Alonissos and Skopelos and of course end with the beautiful view of the amphitheatrically built Skopelos Town as we reach the port at around 18.00hrs.
